21 days. A more intentional relationship with your phone.

Here’s the thing.

None of us planned to spend this much of our lives looking at a phone.

It just happened.

And because of that, we skipped a step: we never paused long enough to ask if this is actually how we want to live.

The Phone Pause isn’t here to convince you to go off-grid or throw your phone into the ocean.

We’d never suggest giving up the group chat you’re emotionally attached to, the memes you love, or the 58 Spotify playlists you have for every conceivable mood.

Instead, this is a 21-day experiment so you can choose your relationship with technology instead of defaulting to it.

Hi, I’m Jamie Varon and I’m the founder of The Phone Pause

I created The Phone Pause after realizing I’d never actually decided how I wanted technology to fit into my life, it just... happened.

But I never found anything that seemed to acknowledge that it’s okay to be online, too. I don’t want some big digital detox. I literally cannot live off grid (I have an online business, for one?) I like Instagram. If I lost my Spotify playlists I’d die. I’m definitely not reverting to a landline anytime soon.

I just don’t like when my phone and mindless scrolling takes over my life.

Hence, the idea for The Phone Pause came into being. A pause. An intentional moment to rethink our relationship with technology. For people who don’t want to quit the internet—they just want to feel good about their time spent on it.
